The WAPDA House was accordingly conceived as a headquarters that would accommodate all WAPDA offices.The design was prepared by the American architect Edward Durell Stone in 1962”

This is the head office of Electricity Department in Pakistan. Its design is very beautiful and attractive. Its construction was started in 1963 and it was completed in 1967. It is situated on famous Mall road, Lahore at Chairing Cross and very close to the building of provincial assembly of Punjab.

A massive structure built many decades back still dominates the surrounding with its complete grace. More then 8xfloors and a basements houses many offices, small commercial and allied infrastructure. The central lobby presents models of gigantic tasks on dams, as performed by WAPDA.

This is amazing building with matchless architect, its a huge complex consisting all kind of offices related to WAPDA (water and power development authority) of Pakistan. It was constructed in 1958. Its a landmark building of Lahore and one of the unique buildings of Pakistan. It has models of all power generation hubs of Pakistan. Models of all the dams are placed here. Has 7 floors in total and building has unique interior and design. (Images of Models of dams are uploaded in photos) . . Parking: yes but dedicated and permit required. Wheelchair accessibility: 4/10 Approach: very easy and convenient as this building is on main road. Restroom: yess Elevator: yes Stairs: yes
