PNS Shifa Hospital karachi

I went there for routine check up in OPD it was a clean hospital doctor was also better. the ENT doctor charged 1000 rupees for consultancy charges, which I think is expensive for and OPD Charges. but civilians Patients are not allowed in day time , Civilians can go there for check up after 6 30 PM. And original ID card is must for the entry. I am civilian so I also went there after 6 30 PM, one has to walk around 5 minutes more if you use public Auto or Careem, Careem is allowed inside only if the driver submit his ID Card in entrance check post but usually Careem drivers dont do that and they prefer to left you outside the main gate, so you have to walk 5 minutes to reach the OPD, there should be a shuttle service for patients as how can a patient walk for more 5 minutes to reach an OPD? but I was astonished to find that there was no water in washroom , so I wonder how patients use their washrooms? there was not water in wash basin and even in WC and other related parts of wash room, I told the concerned officers about that but they did not do any thing to provide water for washroom there

Well established hospital where highly qualified doctors and paramedics providing medical treatment/authentic tests and relevant services in a better way

Military operated hospitals...if you have military background, they charge near to nothing. Hospital is clean. Expansion is going though.

Largest naval Hospital more than 70 years old. Has multiple specialists ( Surgery, Medicine, Cardiology, Neurology, Pulmonology, Rehabilitation, Orthopedic, Neurosurgeon, Dental services, Gynaecology, ENT , Pediatrics etc) and a 24 hour Emergency department. It mainly caters for the military personals and their dependants from the Navy , Army and PAF but civilians can also avail this facility by paying charges which are very less as compared to major hospitals like NMC , South city and AKU.

A unique military hospital in karachi which deal civilian patients also. Almost all specialist doctors are available with an exclusive COVID-19 clinic. Parking and cleanliness are abundant. Access is however restricted due to military premises.

A very good hospital in the area is being managed by Pakistan Navy. Good professional staff cooperates with the patients. The hospital is providing free medical services to armed forces personnel and also a reasonable fee is charged from the private patients.

The standard of this fine establishment has gradually declined over the passage of time, from being at the top, to not even near the top 10 in Karachi.

The image was different in my mind that it's a force based hospital, but situation was totally different,when i went to hospiatal with my patient sister. 1. You can't go without pass 2. Stop the car outside and go on foot to the office and get the pass. 3. Vessel (this is not entrance gate) go ahead with the entrance gate. I said to Mr. Arsalan can i get the pass? Nic etc, ok no problem this is my card, sister's mother's 4. 4 persons not allowed, they even want to go to the emergency room and come back. more than half an hour we were still trying to go inside. 5. Your patient is not an emergency. This is rule that is rule etc etc [Such rules should not be tolerated if they have their own emergency]. All the replies was shocked to hear. You can't imagine what was the situation. I started the arguments and discussion when mr. Arsalan replied to my sis (aap apna moo band rakhen aap sy baat nhi ho rahi) They snatched my visiting pass to my hand and threw my nic back on road. Seriously Extremely sorry to say If there is a force base or rules base hospitals like that, then i have no words
