It was quit a good park. It was big. There were verity of places like lake, hill side, zoo, play grounds and cafee. But it is far from the main city.

The park is situated 17 km of Faisalabad along Faisalabad-Sheikhupura Road and 120 Km from Lahore. The park consists 131 acres is Reserved Forest and being managed for recreational purposes. The park was established during 1984-85 to 1991-92 at a total cost of Rs.15.676 million under a development project "Establishment of Forest Park at Gatwala". This park is a combination of cultural, educational and amusement facilities. The park provided recreational facilities at economical charges and to educate the public about forests and forest types. The main objective to establish the park is to create awareness amongst the people regarding importance of Wildlife and its role for mankind. Reintroduction of wild animals to their natural habitats and to keep wild animals and birds in relatively open, semi wild and healthy environment captive breeding of wild birds and animals, particularly endemic herbivores and galliformes.

A place for family and children fun. Open greeny picnic spots and a lot of fun place.
