4/ 5

Located at 14th St E, D.H.A. Phase 1 near Defence Housing Authority headquarter in Karachi, City. It is one of the oldest and biggest Graveyards under the administrative control of the Defence Housing Authority. The cemetery is cordoned off by boundary walls on all sides. There is almost no space for more graves in this cemetery, however, due to the corruption of the concerned staff, space for graves can be obtained. Burying the dead here is no less than a torment as it is within the limits of DHA, so digging the grave, its cost, and other expenses are much higher than other cemeteries. It is not only difficult for the poor to bury their dead here but impossible to bury their dead here. The condition of the cemetery is not much better the Defense Housing Authority should pay attention to the cleaning of this cemetery, proper lighting management, construction of roads, rainwater drainage, water supply, and other related issues. It is not known why the government and related departments turn a blind eye to what is usually happening in Karachi city cemeteries. One day everyone has to die and come here to be buried, yet why don't we worry about making our own hereafter.
