Government Boys Higher Secondary, Adhwal, Tehsil & District Rawalpindi, Pakistan was established by the Britishers in 1850; as long term strategy, to develop this very fertile land, a peaceful and literate society; simultaneously, a police station named Chauntra was also established as short term planning. The school has illuminated numerous brains to the height; whereas, the police station has brought peace in its jurisdiction of eighty four villages. River Sawan passes through its lands bringing water table at easy access to make the whole area so fertile, contributing in national agri-economy. The lands are cultivated with vegetables as value added crops, irrigation by ox driven chain pumped wells now replaced with internal combustion engine turbines.
