Bilqees Sarwar Hospital (BSH,) an initiative of Bilqees Sarwar Foundation (BSF) which is a top of the heap non-profit organization in Pakistan currently active in Pakistan and also working tirelessly across the globe. BSH was established in 2010 to improve the quality of healthcare services in Lahore. Over 25 million people are suffering from chronic kidney disease in Pakistan. A large portion of these patients is suffering because of unstable financial condition for this reason BSF took this decision to open a large facility, capable of providing free kidney treatment to a large portion of this chunk.
BSH’s (Razia Begum) dialysis center is the one of its kind when you talk about dialysis centers in Punjab due to its setup of 50+ dialysis chairs and because of this BSH is the Punjab’s largest dialysis center in Pakistan. Almost 11,741 dialysis treatment have been performed with the help of specialized doctors at Bilqees Sarwar Hospital.
BSH is a full-fledged charity oriented and privately funded hospital. Ophthalmology department is serving at its best with the help of top-notch ophthalmologist and high-tech laser eye surgery machines. Patients from the underprivileged community are treated free of cost and irrespective of religion, cast, and color. Around 4252 optical surgeries have been performed and 71350 is the number of eyes OPDs, on an average 300 to 350 patients per day are provided with first class ophthalmological treatments.
