The Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) (Urdu: جامعہ عبد الولی خان مردان) is a public university located in Mardan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Established in April 2009, the university is named after Abdul Wali Khan, a prominent personality of Pashtunkhwa and has forty nine institutions affiliated to it. The university started in an already-built postgraduate college of Mardan,has nine campuses and more than ten thousand students enrolled in thirty one disciplines as of 2015. The campus at Swabi was opened in October 2010 in the Anbar elementary college building and has since then become the University of Swabi and the Palosa campus is home to Bacha Khan University. Currently the university has five faculties and three constituent colleges. The faculties are Faculty of Arts & Humanities, Faculty of Chemical and Life Sciences, Faculty of Physical & Numerical Sciences, Faculty of Economics & Business, Faculty of Social Sciences. The Pashtunkhwa College of Art, Womans' College and The Animal Husbandry and Veterinary College are also constituent colleges of the university.

The university location is amazing but i am thinking about the architecture the Design for each department is quite not interested especially the exterior views of the buildings I don't know who designed the whole architectural but i think they can make more better and more amazing modern look to the buildings . Second the process of documentation is manual if it is computerized online system trough website the process will be more faster these are just some suggestions otherwise the university security and location is the best

It is Main gate of Mardan University. The Design of Admin block should not resemble mosque...it may bring great disaster .here is no university environment ...One can still enjoy a lot in Peshawar or Gomal University more. The new universities are still kids..University's management has no concern for students' problems and needs..corruption is at peak......No canteen facility for students.. ...the internal canteen is a bit satisfactory but outside hotel STC is very much expensive...even they don't know art of cooking ..students facing severe hardships in finding living and eating facilities in a clean environment. Hostels not enough to accommodate even 50 % of students . Private hostels take students like shees 18 seater , 24 seater and 32 seater ...

One of the best university in kpk . Good in ranking , administration, ❤🥰
