Al Fatima Clinic was founded in 1982 by Dr Nasim Bano Rahman FRCS. With time it grew to become one of the best Obstetric, Gynaecological Clinics and Maternity Homes in Karachi due to the high quality of care for women and children offered here. After the demise of Dr Nasim Rahman in March 2010, the Clinic continues to offer the highest levels of professional medical expertise in women's health in both Gynaecology and Obstetrics. There is a state-of-the-art Operating Theatre where most operative procedures are done. The Operating Theatre is supplemented by a fully air-conditioned recovery.Adjoining the Operating Theatre is a modern Labour Room. There is also a fully equipped Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit for newborn babies. There are 15 beds in the hospital with the majority of beds in 10 rooms which are mostly air-conditioned. Al Fatima has an excellent reputation for its experienced surgeons and its courteous professional staff.
