Altit Fort is a 9 hundred years old heritage place. Climate of Hunza is very pleasant and cold during the hottest summer months of June and July.

One thousand years old Hunza fort. Almost 40 thousand visitors visited the place. AKCSP restored the fort. Prince Charles also visited Altit fort with Aga Khan and his wife.

A very beautiful and historic fort. These are two forts basically, the other one named Baltit fort . Both have their own histories . Its a well preserved cultural heritage and a must visit foelr all the tourists. And don't forget have a good guide with who can tell you tales of each part of the fort.
