Beautiful place but you need special permission to visit it. Have a permission from an army officer. Beautiful historic place. Build of fort is very important from strategic point of view. A must visit. And then the army mess is also very beautiful.,. With luxurious lawn and indoor game options

The two rivers meet near the fort, kabul and indus. A beautiful place. Attock fort itself is under the control of army.

Built in 1851 by orders of Jalaludin Akbar,this fort has a unique location ,overlooking the merger of Kabul and sindh river. This acted as the last stand of mughal military check posts to guard invaders from Afghanistan. It's walls cover an area of 1600 meters and has 4 gates ,all of which are still intact. It was conquered only once by Sikhs in 1812, later British military took over command in 1842. After petition it was handed over to 7th div and acted as it's HQ.from 1956 onwards it's in use by special services. It came into highlight in 1999 for housing then deposed prime Minister Nawaz Shareef as well. Today it's visit is not open to all. But with co ordination with Oc ssg battalion it can be visited . Apart from fort the high position of officers mess and its lush green lawns offer a scenic beauty of the merger of two rivers and Attock bridge.

Not open for public. It has a historic attachment so tourist can give good revenue if it's made public place
