Balochistan Rural Development Academy (BRDA) is a provincial training institute working under the administrative control of Local Government and Rural Development Department, Government of Balochistan. At present Academy impart in-service/pre-service training to official of Local Government and other Nation Building Departments in the Province. A variety of training courses are designed for the Trainees. Most of the training are held in the Rural Development Academy complex. In addition some of the courses are conducted at Districts, Tehsils and Union Council level. The Rural Development Academy in collaboration with National Reconstruction Bureau has completed numerous trainings besides collaborating with UNDP Projects like Women Political School, Gender Based Governance Systems, AGRP-B, (RAHA) RAA as well as with other NGOs, BRSP & IDO.

BRDA is state of the art facility for training managed by the Local Government & Rural Development BUT Unfortunately, not properly utilized to enhance its role in training and development for the people of province.
