This OSHA 30-hour General Industry Outreach Training course is a comprehensive safety training program designed for those working within general industry. The course design structure and content provides vital information for those working the following jobs:
safety directors foremen field supervisors.
This 30-hour program offers a complete instruction of OSHA compliance issue training.
OSHA.com recommends training programs on a job site. These programs are an orientation to occupational safety and health for employees. This 30-hour course provides information from OSHA 29 CFR 1910.
Additional training is a requirement for all general industry workers. This OSHA outreach training teaches the potential of specific job hazards and how to prevent them from happening.
Participants receive an OSHA 30-Hour General Industry course completion card in the mail after 1-2 weeks of completing the course. The 30-hour General Industry Online Course is NOT equivalent to the OSHA 510 or 511 courses. This 30-hour course does not meet the course prerequisites to take the OSHA 500 or OSHA 501 courses.

During the course, students will work with a partner to develop a presentation and teach an assigned OSHA General Industry Outreach topic, and successfully pass a written exam. Participants will be provided with a variety of training materials and resources.
