Always a rushy market, you need to have 15 to 20 minutes of time for parking and shopping. But keep in mind that if you are interested in utility stores then the best place to visit. They have 2 utility stores which also cause crowds. Nevertheless the main point is to achieve the goal to reach stores and save money, but due to long ques you can waste your time rather then saving money. Gud luck

Cafe Irum market is a hub of encroachers, heap of garbage & filthy spaces in front of every shop is commonly seen. Toilet for traders and public is nasty and dirtier place. The traders are free to throw garbage in front of their shops & it is the duty of government of Pakistan to clean & pick up this mess. The situation of the cleanliness is miserable and shame on the face of CDA.

Oldest market in Islamabad...named after a famed "cafe irum" it has changed a lot over the years.....one can find general shops, yougart milk shops, chicken n meat shops, hardware , electric store, nan shop utility store. fresh fruit n vegetable shops, barber, bakery and tailor's for ladies and gents. it used to be clean but now there is encroachment all around...... but still a go to place for residents of G-6/2 to get their daily items

You can find almost everything here grocery, tailor, meat shop, fruit and vegetables shops, also you can find a good street fast food here.

Small market for local residents with good and fresh vegetables, Fruits, meat and all kind of food for daily use are available but a little bit costly.
