Capital Park Islamabad F-9

Best, no encroachment so far, very much greenery, the silence here make me feel the old and true nature of this city, a very huge and amazing park. Although CDA needs to take much more care of this park than they usually do. It is a blessing for the people of Islamabad.

Cheap entrance and have variety of games for children

Though not very well maintained by CDA, it is still the best park in Islamabad. I go there almost every morning for a walk.

Every corner offers something new, or something old yet beautiful. A great place for picnics, walk, exercise, yoga, running or jogging. It even has tennis courts, cricket ground, open theatre, skating area. It's just awesome

Fatima Jinnah Park (Urdu: فاطمہ جناح پارک), also known as Capital Park or F-9 Park, is a public recreational park that spans the whole of Sector F-9 of Islamabad, Pakistan. It is named after Mādar-e Millat Fatima Jinnah, the younger sister of the founder of Pakistan Muhammad Ali Jinnah. At 304 hectares (750 acres), it is just smaller than New York's Central Park.[1] It was designed by Michael Japero, and was inaugurated in 1992.The park’s original master plan was prepared by the Japan International Cooperation Agency, and was revised in 2005 by Pakistani architect Nayyar Ali Dada. Fatima Jinnah Park's vast acreage is mostly covered by greenery, with a few man-made structures dotting the landscape. Most of the park area is effectively a wildlife sanctuary, except for a few areas of the park that are close to residential districts. The park is bounded by a steel fence with entrance doors placed at regular intervals, although only a few are routinely open and used. A further strip of land outside of the fence is lined with a footpath. A well laid network of footpaths lies inside the park, with neat grass and a few statues Since the park is bounded by a steel fence on all four sides, entrance is possible only through the gates, at least one of which is present on each side. Very nice and beautiful park within the main Islamabad city. Provides a tremendous retreat for the whole family to spare some time to sit and talk together. The park has long walking trails and small ponds to uplift the scenery and make someone feel internal peace. Well maintained kids play area is not quite expensive, which gives a relief to people with lower income brackets to enjoy with their family and kids. In summary it is the best place to visit with the family

Capital Park is also known by names of Fatimah Jinnah Park or F-9 Park. This place is a huge park and a wonderful place in Islamabad. Jogging tracks, football and cricket grounds, tennis courts, play lands for children are in this Park. A wonderful leisure place. A lot of people come here for walks. Car parking lots are also available here.
