I was leaving the country urgently, so i had to sell my car asap. I booked an appointment for a Saturday but i recommend not to. Payments aren't made on a Saturday because banks are closed and you'll have to wait till Monday. My appointment was at 11 in the morning, on shaheed-e-milat road where there was a car already lined up for inspection. After an hour of waiting, my car was inspected for a solid 45 minutes, my papers were checked and i was given a green signal for online auction. Later, i was given the final price which was closer to the market value and good enough so i approved. They gave me a cash token money but i refused as it should be inter bank transfer. They took my car book and gave me a receipt of 20,000 token money. But what i was told was that if i back off from the agreement, I'll have to pay 40,000 as a fine, but if CarFirst backs off, they'll pay 20,000.
Monday arrived, i went to khalid bin waleed road for final payment. Another inspection of 30 minutes was done, they created a lame excuse (which is beyond my understanding ) and deducted 3,000 for no reason in my final payment. Even though i had all my:
1. Documents
2. Paid Taxes
3. Had an original number plate.
Since i was exhausted to argue and had no time left, i opted for the offer. All my account details were taken from a call in lahore and was told to wait till i get a notification from my bank about the payment transfer. The payment was made within 2 hours, and so i came home.
Overall, I was satisfied but i believe things could be better. More information to costumer through the phone, less wait time, and appointments on Saturday shouldn't be given can help improve CarFirst.
