Old hotel owned by the most prominent family of Karimabad. Beautiful views from the room and restaurant - both have large glass windows. Very big and comfortable lounge. Walking distance from main bazaar. The furniture in rooms and restaurant is old, all wooden and still adequate. However you can't help but feel that small improvements here and there are required. With a little bit of maintenance this is the best hotel in Karimabad. Highly recommended.

The place does need an upgrade. Its a great building not very well maintained, not in its prime. The staff was wonderful though, they were friendly, kind and always helpful. The food wasn't the best I've had. The view from the room was great.

Very over priced. Each room for 5500/ compared to normal guest houses that give rooms at 1200/- When i went, they had a deal. 8500 for 3 days along with free breakfast and dinner, which was worth it. BUT, since there were many japanese tourists staying at the hotel in that time, all of their food was japanese, which i did not like at all. They should have a traditional menu as well, along with guest's requests. so that other tourists can also enjoy.

I really liked the history behind this hotel. It has potential to be a really great hotel. However, they arnt really trying. Hot water only comes at 7pm and breakfast sometimes would be cold.
