I wanted to update my review as I have learned so much in my journey! I honesty feel that this embassy is under staffed and lacks the resources needed to assist with weeding through the tremendous amount of applications. If anything alarms them in your case whether it is a fault of yours or not they will refuse your visa. Please educate yourself above and beyond the requirements for a visa, take consult and helpful advice before submitting your case otherwise you could be up for a long journey and painful unfair process to be reunited with your loved one.

It is always pleasant meeting Americans at their Embassy. They often invite the students of The Quaid-i-Azam University for meetings and movies. I have visited this embassy thrice and I found them very professional and friendly. They are very helpful for the visitors. I loved their kitchen the most. A state of the art building. Overall it is always a good experience to visit them.

The Embassy has fully renovated and reconstructed. The biggest and well organized Embassy in Diplomatic Enclave. I have seen many other Embassies but no match with this one. I'd not comment about Visa policy here.

I had Immigrant visa F11 interview on 8 March 2018. They asked some more documents to me and said need more processing and time. I send documents within one week. And still no update of my visa. Very frustrating to wait. Otherwise staff is nice and polite.

Very Nice Experience... I was interviewed for Visit Visa B1/B2 on Monday 09-4-2018. The Visa officer was Nice, friendly, Well mannered and Professional. I have been Granted Visa. So quick service that only after one day, on 11-4-18, I received my Passport back.

Islamabad Embassy takes care of whole Pakistan. Covid is going on. they Have less staff. yet they added Afghanistan IR and other visas in the queue. why could nt they refuse them so they can go to other countries. then they have only 3 clinics for the medical.seriously. only 3 clinics? Wilcare is highly unprofessional, every appointment operator does not know what to do. they make you wait for no reason. they cancelled my appts 4 times. and then one day they booked and told me to come in an hour. when i went there , i was the only 1 person for the medical. and then they delayed the results submission to the embassy and the knew the interview date. why cant we have more Clinics to break the monopoly of these clinics. because of WILCARE , i went to ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING and its been 3 months of it. soon 3 years of marriage will be completed in waiting to reunite. thanks to WILCARE clinic Lahore. AND the Helpdesk guy is the security Guard i think, he doesnt know how to talk.

We applied for a fiancé visa in September 2019, finally got an interview date for 8th June 2021, we have waited over 180 days patiently in the administrative process, the whole purpose of fiancé visa is to be with your fiancé within 10-12 months and get married. However, the immigration process has been very poor. No one is willing to answer questions or help, they only say “your case is in review.” Covid has also been an excuse during this process, however, we both are fully vaccinated. Backlogs have also been an excuse, however, there are several people out there who are jobless. I request the government agencies to recognize the fact that we are loyal citizens and taxpayers, and want to be helped out and be together with our loved family members in a timely manner. I am disappointed with the immigration process. No one deserves to go through this much trouble and stress. The employees are rude, not willing to help either.

I visited there twice last month embassy is very nice but waiting time is very long only 3 diplomats working at the moment
