There is also tomb of Farid ud Deen Qadri, Father of Islamic Scholar Tahir ul Qadri, and an islamic institution by Dr. Tahirul Qadri, known as Jamia Fareedia Qadria. There are two Govt. schools for Boys and girls. Jhang (Punjabi and Urdu: جھنگ) is the capital city of Jhang District, in the province of Punjab, Pakistan. It is situated on the east bank of the Chenab river. According to the 1998 census of Pakistan, it had a population of 293,366.
