It is a great place of education for female medical students. It is name after great leader of Pakistan, Madar e Milat Mohterma Fatima Jinnah. She was the sister of founder of Pakistan Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. It is situated on Queens Road Lahore. Sir Ganga Ram hospital and FedX office are also situated near this college. Your have to score a high percentage of marks to get admission in this college. You have to clean the entry test of of medical colleges and them wait for the merit list to get enrolled in this collage. This college is famous for the formation of great gynecologist of Pakistan. My students of this college received admissions in international institutions for higher education. Professors teaching in this institution are also famous for their intense Style is examplary teaching. Student come here for education from all over Pakistan. Students have to attend the practical classes at Sir Ganga Ram hospital. Student doctor from this hospital are very helpful, caring and skilled. Patient are very grateful to the students of this college for their care. Students have to walk long way from the hostel to college. I suggest that students should be given more facilities so they can study properly.

Fatima Jinnah Medical University  named after Fatima Jinnah, is located in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Fatima Jinnah Medical University with its associated teaching hospital, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, is a medical institution to teach and train female doctors and post-graduate students and provide medical and healthcare facilities to the citizens of the country particularly in and around Lahore and more particularly to the women population. It is now a tertiary healthcare unit. Sir Ganga Ram Hospital was established in 1921 in the walled city of Lahore by a philanthropist Sir Ganga Ram who also donated a piece of land. The hospital was shifted to its present location in 1943 to cope with the growing demand for medical and health care services. On June 30, 2015 the Health Department of Pakistan changed the status of the Medical College to the Medical University and the current principle was made the Vice Chancellor of the University.

The doctors are fine but the clerk type staff is not good

Organised disciplined calm &peaceful from inside with all the chaos fended off its huge boundary walls.....thus denying its students an opportunity to know what they will actually face out in the real society. Like any other such place there is no dedicated parking outside or inside the college or even hospital for the visitors....they are perhaps expected to have themselves air dropped there or lift their vehicles on their heads when visiting this otherwise now almost a benchmark of medical education in Pakistan....

Best hospital. Services are awesome but there is too much mob.

Its one of the oldest and most prestigious med universities in Pakistan, exclusively only for girls... So many memories associated w this place that I m gonna cherish forever.
