Once a famous eye hospital now upgraded as government general hospital lacks major facilities. It's named after Shaheed Saif-ur-rehman the elder brother of Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan. Location and environment is okay.

The hospital seized its services in august 2015 at its location but was registered under the name Gilgit Eye Care center and moved to its new location near Chinar Bagh. Easily the best eye-care provider in Pakistan
