Government High School No. 2 Shikarpur - This is an age-old institution imparting education since 1900 A.D. It was established in the name of “Hopeful-Academy” under the motto “Enter to learn and Go forth to Serve." The founder Manager of Academy was a great Educationist Mr. Wadhu Mal S/o Verho Mal Goklani, who served it upto his retirement year 1939. The then administration of the institution constructed its double-storey magnificent Building comprising of 15 Class rooms excluding Science Hall, Drawing Hall and a Library. It is very spacious and having all the facilities in-comparison with any educational institution at large. After Independence, this institution was named as Government High School No.2. This school has recently been renovated under the protected heritage project.
