This grand building with spacious lawns and gardens is located on Mall Road and Davis Road. It official residence of governor of Punjab. After annexation of Punjan the British lieutenant governor of Punjab resided here. It is not a tourist destination as no one is allowed to visit it except Govt officials and political workers. The whole area with buildings was purchased by the British administration against paltry sum of rs. 2,500.

Governor's House Lahore is a well-known place, and officially belong to the Governor of Punjab Pakistan, located in Devis Road, Mall Road, Punjab. Governor is the chancellor of all Punjab Public Universities. He has authority to issue ordinance and bill become Law after his signature in the Province.

700 kanals governor of Punjab, Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar, residence is a typical mansion built among a large expanse of surrounding lawns and gardens. Close to the house, there is a tomb belonging to a man by the name of Muhammad Qasim Khan, who is said to be a maternal cousin of the Mughal emperor Akbar. Four doorways enclose the two-story tomb and to the north, there is a stairway which leads up. Much of the furniture and artifacts used in the house are antique relics that date back. Governor Punjab aims to pursue the vision of PM Imran Khan about solarization/ SDG 7. Thereby, minimize SMOG and working on feasibility study of 3 Mw solar power park in it. This would entail around Rs 2 billion In 25 years.
