The mother institution of Gilgit Baltistan, priviously known as Govt. Boys High School No.1 now Sir Syed Ahmed Khan Boys Higher Secondary School Gilgit. This institution known as Alighad of Gilgit-Baltistan. More then 8000,eight thousand students have passed out. This institution came into being in 1892. Now more then 130 years passed. Renowned Government officials Director General Majeed Khan, Director Faizullah Lone, Secretory Rehman Shah.In Pakistan army Major general Salman, Lt.general Najum Khan, Berg. Barkat . In prominent political personalities and many more prominent personalities are the alumni of of this great institution of our country.
