A beautiful mosque in the heart of the city. One of the oldest in Muzaffarabad. Rebuild a few years ago. Now can accommodate thousands of worshippers. Excellent ablution facilities. The main gate is an absolute work of art. Very important part of the local culture.

One off the oldest MOSQUE in the capital city of muzaffarabad first made in 1500 century after ward renovated several times. One of unique thing about this mosque is its washrooms of turkish style made in year 1700 in a time when concept of washroom dosent even exist. A very fine use of local cedar tree wood is marvellous in the doors Windows and cupboards of this mosque.around 5000 Muslims can offer prayer at a single time in this grand MOSQUE.
