Kachehri Chowk is located in south eastern side of Rawalpindi city on the very old GT Road which is connect New Delhi of India with Kabul of Afghanistan. It connects GT Road which is known as Peshawar Road with Airport Road & Chaklala Cantt. and the oldest Meyo road (new name Rashid Minhas road) is connecting it with Murree Road at Marir Chowk intersection. A road goes toward Adyala & Dhamyal Camp from Kachehri Chowk. Kachehri chowk is famous for offices of district courts, lawyers, stamp vendors and other administrative authorities. Another big thing associated with Kachehri Chowk is Civil Lines; Offices of all executive bodies of divisional & district government of rawalpindi division/district are situated here including model police station of civil lines, office of city police officer, office of deputy commissioner rawalpindi district, office of commissioner rawalpindi division and various assistant commissioners & EDOs (executive district officers) of different departments are located here.
