In past, this used to be a very busy railway junction. I am not sure how good it is now.. On it's way one can view Phuleli canal and river Indus from over the bridges.

Kotri railway junction is longest platform in all PAKISTAN as compare to other railway platforms it is a junction so it diverts route to different places like Kotri to dadu and Kotri to Hyderabad and so on. In late 90's almost all trains used to stop here but by time passed away only few trains stop by.

The station is not very big and has few food and tea stalls. Trains excluding night couches and business express usually halt here for about 5 to 7 minutes for water refilling purpose.
