Visited there in July 2013 for coming to Karachi via business train. Building from outside looks like a heritage structure, so has a majestic feel. There was some reasonable maintenance. But still lot can be made better. Many train tracks.

It is very old railway station and junction but the facilities over here and renovation is not up the standard of the provincial capital railway station. Rawalpindi, Peshawar railway stations are more beautiful and clean. Food points and very pathetic. Prices are high as compared to quality. I would suggest the people passing through this station to avoid food from restaurant on the station and prefer the packed snacks instead.

A big railway station in heart of lahore. there are 4 to 5 platforms. Porter are available her to carry you luggage and guide you to your seat. Also there is a small praying area.

Review

Historical Lahore Railway station. Always feel nostalgic here. Its amazing.. Railway system im Pakistan right now is what British made in their reign. Its still functional.. And what our institutions make things don't even last few years.
