When you look straight ahead from Lal Kothi bus stop you see minaret of Masjid Abuzar Ghaffari. The mosque was founded by Haji Murad Gul (Late) , Molvi Abdul Salam Sahib (Late) and Misal Khan (Late) in early 1959. Dr Wassi Hyder, Awal Shah (Late) and Shah Zaman actively participated in look after of the mosque. First renovation of the mosque was performed in 1973. Afterwards it was renovated and modified in structure and design in 1982, 1990, 2005 and recently in 2016. Where there is a shop (Ali G.Store) now once used to be a hotel called 'Gharib Nawaz' hotel. The hotel served since the foundation of the mosque until recently when it was closed and converted into shops under rent to its current operators.
