The school is headed by Miss Carey Schofield, a British writer and educationist. The Langlands School and College was established in 1987. The school is providing Beacon House level education in very nominal fees. A moment of relief for those posted in Chitral and worrying about their children's education.

Langlands School and College is known for excellence in academics as well as in the overall upbringing of the youth towards healthy lifestyle. I was lucky enough to be part of this prestigious institution which used to be called Sayurj back then. During recent past the school went through some tough times because of the rotten politics played by some local stakeholders who eventually tried to make the school look like taliban headquarters by introducing cultural changes inspired by Pakistan and Afghanistan taliban terrorists groups. Lucky! this school is in safe hands now.
