Nice ambiance and decor. Mediocre service. Very mediocre food. We tried 3 different things. All were disappointing.

I like this place. They have a nice view and overall ambiance is good. Food was also good and they try to indulge with local dishes.

So we made a booking to celebrate my father in laws birthday with a family dinner. I'll mention issues in bullet points below. 1. One set of serving of sauces/chillies on a table of 8 persons. After asking 2 or 3 times, they gave us another set and bu then we had all finished crackers and soup. 2. Tempura prawns: i was shocked to see how they looked, and horrified when I tasted them. The batter was not only tasteless but also seemed like made by a 12 year old kid who tried to make tempura prawns for the first time. Beyond imagination. 3. Drinks: had to ask for our drinks again and again and we got them when most of us were almost done with the food. 4. Service: overall service was super super slow. Had to stand up and look around for a server. 5. Payment: so we knew that 20% discount was available on our platinum credit card but we didn't get any discount because they had no yet received updated discounts list or whatever they called. It cost us 22,000 for way way below average food and service. Never going there again, never recommending it to anyone again.

Enjoyed a very personalised environment with quality food and service. Moven pick has class of its own and we loved to select that for a special lunch. Great time spent.

The Chinese-looking lady manager at Lotus Court has a history of misbehaviour with customers. Two friends had told me earlier about her and finally I too witnessed it today. Such short-tempered and ill-mannered people should not be working in anything related to customer service, let alone hospitality. Food was okayish (max 7 out of 10). Nothing was bad and nothing was outsdanding. There definitely are better Chinese restaurants than Lotus Court out there. Even if I'm staying at MovenPick, I'd rather drive for 2-3 minutes and go to Dynasty for better Chinese food.
