This is a most beautiful place in Islamabad, it has wonderful view of margalla hills and and lush green fairways of golf club. You an play golf here of you are a member of the club or member of Pakistan golf association. As a golf club it might not stand among the best ones. It has beautiful lawn and club house , offering variety of snacks and brunch on Saturday and Sunday. The food and prices are very reasonable. Within the club's boundary there is a small Pizza Hut outlet as well. It also have a jogging track. This is an awesome place to visit with family and friends. Away from hussle bussle of city yet within the city.

Its very scenic. Club house is good. Nice Channa chat and pakoras. However the golf course is with of contours and greens are really pathetic, very hard and not at all well maintained. Overall it's a bit challenging course and highly recommended for a couple of rounds.

Margalla Greens Golf Club is located in the foothills of Margalla Hills adjacents to Naval Residential Complex Islamabad. It is stretched over an area of 100 acres land, consisting of 18-holes, par 72 Golf Course of International standards. The course has a number of water ways and sand bunkers, tactically built to catch the wayward shots and test the skills of the Golfers. Margalla Greens Golf Club is a feast of fairways and greens with a layout of breathtaking beauty. Overall it is awe inspiring, peaceful, serene and thought provoking, providing real test of golfing skills. No doubt over a period of time, it will become the finest Golf Course in the country. The Golf Course, aims to offer range of social activities and recreational facilities to its members.

The greens are not well maintained and the overall design of the Coarse is very poor. It could turn into a very beautiful one with a little extra care. But a very scenic coarse in the foothills of Margalla

Tough course. Beautiful scenery. Front 9 are much better. Hole 7 is a pure hike
