I used to go to this masjid regularly when l was living in Gulistan Colony Rawalpindi. Last week l went to Gulistan Colony on an errand and went to masjid Sherzaman fir dohr prayer. I was pleased to meet and catch up with some of the old friends and especially Imam Masjid Maulana Zulfiqar Sahib. He was bed ridden for a long time due to various complications and wasn't able to lead the prayers. I was pleased to see him in much better position and leading the prayer congregation. Masjid is neat and clean and very well maintained. The management has installed solar system to reduce electricity bills and avoid load shedings.
