The AMI 3 – 6 Diploma Course consists of:
• Montessori Child Psychology and Child Development
• Montessori Educational Theory and Practice to include the role of the
Montessori teacher and the preparation of the Montessori environment
• Observation and Teaching practice in approved Montessori
environments.
This course on Montessori teaching covers the fundamental concepts and historical context of early childhood education (ECE), Maria Montessori and her observations about the learning behaviours of children, and different established domains of Montessori. It also explains the role of the surroundings for environment-led learning. This course is an ideal match for beginners in the Montessori method.
