It is the place where my grandfather (Hafiz Muhammad Ismail Ansari) was leading prayers including Taraveeh and teaching Quran to the students. After his death in 1987 my father (Hafiz Muhammad Ishaque Ansari) was appointed as Pesh Imam. His tenure was the longest. He was Imam of this Masjid until his death. After his death I also lead prayers for few months. My people including me got Islamic education from here, I learned Quran by heart from the madrasa inside this Masjid. I was also teaching Quran to the students in the madrasa inside the Masjid. Lots of memories are affiliated with this place. I spent the precious moments of my life here.
