Review

Tollinton Market built in 1864 under the support of Queen Victoria; it was originally constructed for the purpose of holding internationally acclaimed Punjab Industrial Exhibition. Currently this building named as ‘The Lahore City Heritage Museum’. It consists of 3 galleries namely: the Sultanate, Mughal and Sikh/ British. Now halls of the building are used for holding certain cultural events by the museum or its sister organizations such as the Fine Arts Department of National College of Arts and University of Punjab.
