The National Bank of Pakistan , Circular Rd, is the Main old branch of this august bank, in Abbottabad town. It was opened in 1956-57, and is still functioning , I dont know why someone has written that it is permanently closed. It is very much open, daily, and they have good service and offer many facilities to clients. Timings are 9 am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9 am to 1 noon Fridays. Closed weekends.

Its Main branch of National bank of Pakistan, opposite to punj peer ziyarat at punjpeer road, Abbottabad. It remains almost crowded cz of its central and easy access location. Also you had to wait more especially during first week of every month. It actually was just because of pension and salary distribution related matters of alkost whole Abbottabad district. But recently government of Pakistan reschedualed the pension distribution process and implimented the new mechanism for pension distrbution which is now easily dealt by nearest possible and accessable banks/branches to pensioners. It resulted in load minimization on this main bank and now normal bank dealing/dealings are much more effeciently handled by this NBP. Now speedy comparatively.

Its NBP main br. Abbottabad always ready to serve its customs with verity of financial services. From loans to deposit accounts and from various fee deposits to issuance of bank guarantees. Staff is friendly and helpful. Its crowded with customers usually in early days of month being salary days.
