A great book center with a lot of discounts

i am a reader due to National Book Foundation's Love for READERS AND BOOKS.

1: There should be pay receipt for the purchased books. They should give pay receipt to the customers of their purchase. 2: Books collection is very good. Need a bit of updation in regards of new released books, or most famous books of recent year and 1 year back especially in English section, as I asked few books which are from previous year and are most famous also but they were not available. Otherwise the collection available is good.

National Book foundation have books on a lot of topics and subjects. Their main objective is to publish and sell the books at much cheaper rates than the market price so that more people could be engaged in reading. A positive aspect to it is that as it is government owned and funded so a lot of local and national writers, literary figures are supported and are able to publish their brilliant work. NBF focus is both on the quantity and quality of books and subjects.

Lovely organisation and worth visiting. Government has completely revamped it and it really has immense potential, offering amazing discounts and very very attractive museum in the building. They have a good book shop at the location offering 55% discount.

National Book Foundation was established in 1972 as a service rendering educational welfare organization. It is a statutory Corporation created through an Act of the Parliament in order to make books available at moderate prices. It has its Head Office in Islamabad and Regional Offices at each provincial Headquarters. In addition it has Branch Offices and bookshops. Its management and over all control vests in a Board of Governors. The Federal Education Minister is Chairman of the Board of Governors. The Chief Executive of the organization is the Managing Director.
