First of all, I wish speedy recovery to all the patients who come here or go to any other hospital. Doctors and staff (at least those that I interacted with) of National Hospital (DHA) are good and deserve four stars rating however management and operations of this hospital is a one star (or lower) offering. They have created classes in the hospital also (I thought we left that when we got independence from British rulers) and there is a VIP block, VIP rooms, Wi-Fi for VIP's only and even elevators only for VIPs (really? an elevator for only VIPs while others have to wait... and that too in the hospital?) and then there is everybody else. I guess in the eyes of this hospital 's management, VIPs are getting VIP medical problems that require VIP elevator also. Not sure how healthcare got associated with a VIP culture but I am darn sure proud (ex) colonels running this place can do a better job. It could have been an exceptional medical facility concentrating on the well being of its patients but they chose to make money over providing service. You can't blame these ex-colonels also because they went through the system that teaches them to be an officer who salutes a senior and yells at subordinate to get things done, not a passionate manager and healthcare provider.
