The museum is an excellent place to visit and see Pakistan's culture and heritage and archaeological artifacts. Every person must visit this place, which offers recreation facilities, a Sindhi food restaurant, an open air handicrafts exhibition (on weekends), a big lawn in front and back, an auditorium for functions and ample space for parking.

Worth visiting if you are interested in history, culture, civilizations and archeology. Though the facilities, security and safety of invaluable articles of historical importance are quite inadequate. Proper care, guest entertainment and guidance are almost non existent. The provincial government should take initiatives in upgrading this great center of knowledge and history... especially after the 18th constitutional amendment in the Constitution of Pakistan.

3/ 5

“A visit to a museum is a search for beauty, truth, and meaning in our lives. Go to museums as often as you can.” “It’s not a museum. It’s not a place of artifacts; it’s a place of ideas.” “The best introduction to art is to stroll through a museum. The more art you see, the more you’ll learn to define your own taste.” “If you don’t know history, then you don’t know anything. You are a leaf that doesn’t know it is part of a tree.” What you are doing does not matter so much as what you are learning from doing it. It is better not to know and to know that one does not know than presumptuously to attribute some random meaning to symbols.”

In my child hood i visited this place with my school fellows on a school trip. At that time it was just like an outing for me. It was not like educational trip or I got to learn something from the past people left over. But this time I have planned to visit this place again with my children to make them aware and teach them about the people and their culture.
