PIA Planetarium karachi

Visited long time back. Watched the show about stars in the hall with dome shaped roof. Body of a condemned aeroplane was also there & people could see it from inside on ticket. Despite central location there was not much rush of visitors. I agree with other reviewers that this huge plot should be developed into a wonderful educational entertainment spot for general public (particularly kids) with minimum commercialization. Please please.. Don't ever sell it to private builder mafia. It should be in custody of provincial government for public use.

Went there as a child with my school had memorable time. Dont know how good it is now.

Absolute rubbish. A waste of time and a waste of space. This should be removed completely and something else be made on this property. It had it's charm in the 90's but as of date it's absolutely useless.

Good place for students and people who want to know and learn about planets and starts.

This place could have been used more productively. Utter disgust to see how an important learning experience for all age groups is being wasted. Should be outsourced to those who can make over this place and modernise this facility for all specially kids.

Top rating just because when I visited PIA Planetarium, I was a school boy, I was significantly inspired. But today its same as it was at that day, should be upgraded & updated. Its an asset for Pakistan.

Went there as a kid.. It was good when there was lack of info, but these days kids know more than what is told there. local governement should invest and make it into better attraction probably install some high powered telescopes, something kids dont have access to.
