Empress market is one of the British Raj era buildings which has significant historical background. It was called Empress of India before Pakistan came into existence. At this point this building was the center point of the city and native soldiers who fought in the war of independence were ruthlessly executioner here. After century this place has become the center of whole sale market where you can buy anything from basic kitchen accessories to imported goods. They have animal market where you can buy animals and birds for your home as pets.

3/ 5

After a century still a place for great bargains and good quality merchandise whether food items vegetables or grocery. However meat is not that great. Lot of cleaning is required and some bad smells to be removed. You can get fruit and Chinese vegetables as well. There is a section of small animals like cats, dogs and birds also.

You'll get what you need, or close, at least. You'll also have a 10% chance of getting your stuff stolen or looted every time you walk on those streets. If that doesn't happen there's a high chance of getting ripped off by shop owners... So it nice to have someone you know there genuinely help you out.
