Lahore Zoo Safari park situated in Raiwind area is approx. 28 KM from city center & provides an ideal retreat for the locals away from the usual hustle & bustle of the city. It is very popular among families & provides a great opportunity to spend quality time closer to nature, away from the polluted concrete jungle. Specially for kids its a great learning opportunity to get familiar with the wildlife. The park comprises of different animal safaris, most notably lion, tiger, Zebra, Ostrich, oryx & a large aviary with a good many species of birds. There is a small walk way inside the aviary so one can walk around these birds which is quiet amusing for the kids. There is a small amusement park for the kids & an artificial lake for boating. The park is reasonably extensive & well kept. There is also a vet dispensary & first aid center. The park falls under Punjab wildlife & parks department & altogether an impressive wildlife facility, well maintained as compared to other such facilities like Lahore Zoo on mall road which is in a dreadful condition & in dire need of betterment. In fact considering its space & hygiene the government should seriously consider turning it into a museum/park & rescuing the animals to a safer & better environment like safari zoo park.

Good place for night or morning walk . Few animal like big cats , Black buck, Urrial, and ostrich are there to entertain kids

The zoo os beautiful. Clean and have variety of animals. A great place to bring children and family to amuse them with the nature seen on tv. The back of zoo is a picnic spot and mall infront. A great place to spend a good weekend evening with family or your lover.
