The Shah Faisal Mosque is simply beautiful. Set against the Margalla Hills, it carries a pristine outlook. The design is inspired by a Bedouin tent. It reflects contemporary and Islamic architectural features. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions of the capital.

The mosque is architecturally one of the best buildings in Pakistan. The four steeple go upward to the sky. Inside the main hall seeing a pillarless structure is great. The chandelier (فانوس) is very brightly glowing and much beautiful. The structure is triangular and pyramidal. To reach the mosque, one has to climb hundreds of stair-steps which can be hectic for many people. As far as the services are concerned, much improvements and maintenance is required. Also, drinking water is rare at sight that needs to be improved. Moreover, the washrooms were not in an adequate condition. The fountain wasn't working, the outer ground was classless etc.

Iconic architecture of Pakistan. One of to-do-list when you visit Islamabad. I like the ambience of its Mosque, especially when you get inside and pray there. Local people are friendly, and usually will be happy to give you any information that you need. But you have to be careful when you put your shoes on the locker area, because the shoes thieves everywhere and unpredictable.

One of the biggest Masjid (Mosque) in the world where almost 3 Lac people can be accommodated for offering prayer at a time.... The design of this mosque ( Faisal Masjid ) was made by a Turkish architect. . . While the fund was provided by the Saudi king Shah Faisal and hence this Mosque was named with Faisal Masjid. . . . The fund provided for Faisal masjid was $120 million. . .

Yesterday I visited this Beautiful Mashid. This Mashid have really natural beauty. It's located in the hub hills. All around grassy, fresh air and natural beauty scene. If we talk about it's praying place then first we see a large Masjid Hall. And it's also have a large courtyard. All area of the Mosque is well equipped. It's also have own Islamic literally department.
