Small small airport with limited airlines. I guess only 3. The staff are very rude and unqualified. From immigration officials to fia officials. None of them are qualified enough. The customs officers lady asked my wife to donate her perfume to her and she can buy new one from abroad. Shameless behaviour. The FIA officials asked me for bribe so that I won’t get harassed and my luggage won’t be opened. I never had such issues while flying from Islamabad Airport.

5/ 5

Approximately 1,000,000 travellers from Sialkot and adjacent areas are expected to benefit from this international airport each year. Recently in 2013, it has been confirmed that the airport will be developed further; the apron will be extended to accommodate 12 aircraft and jet bridges will be installed, for which construction is already underway. Extension of Apron at Sialkot International Airport Extension of the apron enabled the airport to accommodate more aircraft. The project was started on 2 October 2010 and was completed on 30 November 2011, incurring a total cost of PKR 180 million as quoted by the contractor of the project. The construction project was awarded to Habib Construction Services which is one of the largest construction companies of Pakistan and have worked on several other mega projects previously.

Very small airport compared to all the other international airports I have visited so far. It has been neglected by the government big time. However I gave 5 stars because the staff was very helpful and kind. However baggage handlers stole the cigarette pack I had in my suitcase while opening the suitcase. But that's minor compare to what we used to deal at Islamabad airport. I will be using this airport more often now. We had a tough day so couldn't really take any pictures. Food was nice and not very pricey. Clean toilets and a prayer room. Would recommend 💯 x
