My father told me that the owner of student biryani used to sell biryani in 60s at Saddar where the Student Birnai now Restaurant now located on a Thaila (cart) and since saddar was full of colleges and schools it named student biryani, from there it went to the largest and biggest biryani seller of Pakistan. it is no doubt still one of the best taste biryani but since it expands tremendously, not able to maintain the taste and quality that was hallmark of the student biryani. But still Nice place to have famous Student Biryani along with shami kabab. Recommended to go there as now they have very good ambiance and also they have many franchisers as well as they deliver online and on call. Still the best is the Saddar place, again parking is an issue so better to use Carim or Uber. Good for Groups and also for outing with family. Other than biryani you can find good things like Shami kabab, chargha and even fast food. In morning, halwa poori is also very good

This restaurant lost its charm of speciality in Biryani, for which this restaurant was famous. Beside this specific item they have good range of food which is palatable. Food is not that much costly and one can enjoy meal there. However good thing is service is self and delivered to customer faster than other restaurants.
