Tanda Lake, Kohat

Tanda Dam kohat is small dam in kohat kpk.It was inaugurated by president Ayub Khan in in 1962. The dam supply water to nearby area for irrigation purposes.it supply water to Jurma, shahpur and many other villages. Dam is also picnic spot for the people of district kohat, hangu, orakzai, Kurram, karrak and many areas. Recommended with family especially in summer session..

Beautiful dam constructed from 1962-67 is a wild life sanctuary. Possesses variety of flora and fauna. A metalled road runs along left bank of dam and used by visitors to spectacle the scenic beauty of place. Dam has huge tourism potential however is not exploited by investors so far.
