A historical monument with finely managed gardens and lawn. It is a good place for family visits. The environment is friendly and calm. When i visited it, the structure was being renovated but it should have been done by now.

If anyone wants to see that how one careless nation destroy it's historical places then tomb of Queen Noor Jahan is it's good example. It's in pathetic condition. It looks like a ghost area. I feel sorry for Queen Noor Jahan, & her dauhhter. Both graves are in worst condition. Only those who keep interest in history or want to visit grave of Noor Jahan then they may come. Otherwise, it's not a place for families or couples. Now, government is doing renovation but it is just fake cosmetic work. We have already distroyed the original tomb.

5/ 5

It was believed by 19th century writers that the marbles and other costly decorative items were removed from the sepulcher during the Sikh rule and utilized in the decoration of the Sikh temple at Amritsar. It is said that half the splendour of the Sikh temple in Amritsar is due to marble plundered from this mausoleum. Even the subterranean chamber containing the graves of Noor Jahan and her daughter Ladli Begam were desecrated, as was the marble and pietra dura of the sarcophagi. The original marble cenotaphs have disappeared. The existing cenotaphs and the marble platform are 20th century replacements.
