This is about car repair service. I went there with the car doing “missing” (not accelerating).

This is about car repair service. I went there with the car doing “missing” (not accelerating). First they said a simple tuning would fix it. It didn’t. Went back a few days - this time a new fuel pump was installed. It didn’t fixed the problem. They called someone else on the phone asking what could be the problem. Five minutes later the issue was gone. I didn’t think much of it but then noticed a warning light was on - this time went to another mechanic. They discovered that the light was off because some sensor in the exhaust had been unplugged. And when they reconnected - the missing problem came back. A cleaning of the sensor fixed the problem. In my opinion these people are simply incompetent and then were dishonest when they chose to unplug the sensor instead of telling me the truth.
