Zoo Basel quetta

A gem of a zoo right in the center of town. The new concept of keeping less species but in better conditions pays off. They are very successful at breeding and their are always some baby animals around. Don't miss when you visit Basel.

Nice zoo with plenty to see outside as well as inside making it a suitable for rainy days.

Great plan for adults and kids. Well organized. On the other side I don't like to see animals locked.. But that's another issue and we need to also understand the good labor than zoos does for the study ans understanding of the animals

Great experience and a fantastic location. Lots of animals to see that seem really happy. Not to busy and the flow is well. It’s worth the trip and experience. Not expensive if you get the family pass. Thank you.

Price is ok if you have the Basel card. quite small. About 2-3hours walk.

Amazing zoo with all type of animals . Aquarium, insects , reptiles,birds and mammals. Well maintained. There is separate section for apes too . Inside zoo , you can have good food in restaurant too. Its best place for kids , spend time .

The zoo and animals I think were great. The drop in star rating comes from the available parking (damn near nothing), and restroom facilities (the one I used far too small and no way to avoid contact with other humans. Social distancing is a thing these days).
