Low maintenance, too crowded. Washrooms dirty. Bear, tiger and elephant were main attraction. If you have nothing else to do in this world and your kids are getting really bored then you can go to this place as last resort. Bouncing castle and slides were ok. The play are next to the zoo is better option. Avoid going there on holidays Christmas or any other long weekend otherwise you will seriously regret it.

Islamabad Zoo, previously Marghazar Zoo, is an 82-acre zoo in Islamabad Capital Territory. It was opened in 1978, and is under the administration of Capital Development Authority of Pakistan. Excellent place to visit and spend time watching many animals from all over the world. Much beauty and greenery at this place under Margalla Hells. Parking place, Tuck shops and refreshment points also there.
